Your intitial appointment is devoted to an assessment, after which we will come up with a treatment plan to address your concerns. Sometimes we may want a few visits to do this, and we can always adapt our plan along the way.

As a psychiatrist who does psychotherapy, I don't make a distinction between the mind and the body. Medication may be an effective option for some individuals, while therapy is a powerful tool for lasting change.
